WASHINGTON (JTA) The Anti-Defamation League urged authorities to probe the slaying of a Muslim girl in suburban Virginia as a hate crime. Getty The Anti-Defamation League applauded last weeks resolution from the Southern Baptist Convention condemning the alt-right, calling the group insidious and hateful. Steps like those of the SBC to clearly repudiate the movement go a long way toward raising awareness of the danger of the alt-right, wrote the ADLs Rabbi David Sandmel in an op-ed at Religion News Service.
