Adirondack Chapter #60 Korean War Veterans: Veterans and family welcome to join the Adirondack Chapter to march or ride in the Saratoga Springs 4th of July Parade. Begins 9:45 a.m. on North Broadway, Wednesday, July 4. Show up on time and a place will be found for you.

Thursday, July 5

Karner Blue Butterfly Walk: 10 a.m. Thursday, July 5, Wilton Wildlife Preserve & Park, 80 Scout Rd., Gansevoort. The walk will be the last opportunity to see the endangered Blue Karner until next year. Pre-registration is appreciated. info@wiltonpreserve.org, 450-0321.

Cindy and Skeets GFH Cancer Day Golf Tournament: 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, July 6. $175 includes a round of golf, cart, lunch, post-tournament reception with hors doeuvres and food stations, cash bar, live auction and awards ceremony. Proceeds will benefit the Glens Falls Hospitals 2012 Annual Fund to support the C.R. Wood Cancer Centers Communities Against Cancer campaign.
