This year the official narrative in the mainstream media is that Israeli "soft power" sunk the Free Gaza Flotilla in Greece. The fact that Israel went to these lengths shows how beneficial the last flotilla was for Gazan Palestinians. Because of 9 activists on the Mavi Marmara who gave their lives, Gazan children today can enjoy a few of the small things that make childhood sweet.

Israeli security forces intercepted a boat on the Dead Sea before dawnMonday and arrested two Palestinians attempting to smuggle weapons from Jordan to Israel. A dinghy carrying a number of AK-47 rifles, magazines and additional unspecified weaponry was apprehended earlier today by the army and Israel Police, a statement released by the army said, noting the Palestinians planned tos muggle the weapons into the West Bank. This is not the first attempt to smuggle weapons via the Dead Sea

Technion Cornerstone Centennial -- Spanish Version In April 1912 the cornerstone was laid for the first Jewish university in the Middle East, the Technikum later to be called Technion-Israel Institute of Technology. The Technion opened its door for the first students in 1924 and the engineers and scientists educated there were instrumental in building the country.
