As part of Project Aliyah, or rise up, Temple Bnai Brith recently installed an elevator, in addition to up-to-date fire sprinklers and bathrooms, in the nearly century-old building. Built in 1919, the synagogue is an old romanesque building, with steep staircases leading to the second-floor sanctuary.
