During Tuesday's White House press briefing, Spicer compared Adolf Hitler to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad after the latter was accused of attacking his own people with chemical weapons last week. Spicer at first said Hitler never used chemical weapons on his own people, which he later clarified to mean Hitler never attacked his own people via chemical bombs dropped from airplanes which Assad was accused of doing.
