(New York Jewish Week) A brand-new Jewish entrant to a crowded New York congressional race got a big amplification this week when the leader of the Anti-Defamation League, a national non-partisan civil rights advocacy group, shared his Twitter thread condemning a local progressive Jewish activist group. Brian Robinson, a Jewish businessman who is one of 17 Democrats vying to represent New Yorks newly drawn District 10, put up a 16-post long Twitter thread that called Jews For Racial and Economic Justice and its political arm, The Jewish Vote, a far-left scam.

A French parliamentary deputy has issued a call for expressions of anti-Zionism to be legally prohibited on similar grounds to antisemitic incitement. Writing in the news outlet Valeurs Actuelles last week, ric Ciotti a parliamentarian from the city of Nice for the center-right Les Rpublicains (LR) Party lambasted anti-Zionism as the antisemitism that dare not speak its name. Ciotti pointed to aparliamentary resolution proposed at the end of July that denounced Israel as an apartheid regime, claiming that since its creation in 1948, Israel has pursued a policy aimed at establishing and maintaining a Jewish demographic hegemony and expanding its control over the territory for the benefit of Israeli Jews.
