The 26th annual PBL FFA Farm Toy Show. 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Feb. 1, Paxton-Buckley-Loda High School gymnasium, Paxton. Charleston Carnegie Public Library gala event. "Black, White and Read," 6 p.m. Feb. 1, Unique Suites Hotel, Banquet Room, 920 W. Lincoln Ave., Charleston. An evening celebrating the library's 110 years. Entertainment and a surprise or two. Tickets $45; includes dinner, entertainment and a program to recognize the career of Sheryl Snyder, library director from 1977 to 2009. 345-4913.
