				    MADISON - Chabad of Southeast Morris    County, based in Madison, will sponsor its eighth annual Jewish    Law Symposium at 5 p.m. Monday, Sept. 22, at the Birchwood    Manor at 111 Jefferson Road in the Whippany section of Hanover    Township.  
    The centerpiece of the symposium will    be a panel discussion, Why Cant We All Get Along  Difficult    Clients, Families in Business, and Inheritances.  
    Jeff Greenfield, five-time Emmy Award-winning TV journalist and    author, will moderate the event, and featured panelists will    include the Honorable John W. Bissell, Chief U.S. District    Judge, retired; Robert E. Margulies Esq.; Nancy Erika Smith    Esq.; H. Glenn Tucker Esq., and Rabbi Daniel Rapp Esq., a noted    Talmudic scholar, author and lecturer.  
    A buffet dinner reception will begin at 5 p.m., followed by the    symposium program at 6:30 p.m. The cost of the program is $150    per person; $80 for public sector attorneys and law clerks, and    $50 for law students. Scholarships are available on request,    and are subject to availability. New Jersey, New York and    Pennsylvania continuing legal education (CLE) ethics credits    will be provided for the event.  
    Compare, Contrast  
    The laws and ethics of the Talmud have served as a cornerstone    of humanitys civil and moral infrastructure, while shaping its    legal judicial systems, remarked Rabbi Shalom Lubin, founder    of the Jewish Law Symposium and executive director of Chabad of    Southeast Morris County.  
    This year we will compare and contrast legal reasoning and    adaptation between Talmudic and American law, focusing    particularly on scenarios of conflict and discord both in the    legal and family settings, Lubin observed.
