This isnt because of a Jewish holiday but in response to the rise and normalization of antisemitism on Twitter, and the social media giants indifference to violators of its own rules and regulations. Celebrities, Farrakhan supporters, and antisemitic conspiracy peddlers have tweeted with no shame or challenge, and The Great Jewish Twitter Walkout is the response.
