8/26/14: D-backs CEO Derrick Hall joins the Arizona broadcast to discuss the ballclub's Give Back Jersey Program benefiting 20,000 children "The Anti-Defamation League is proud to present the Torch of Liberty Award to Derrick Hall because his commitment to treating every person with dignity and respect is truly extraordinary," said Amy Altshuler, Board Chair for the Arizona Region of ADL. "His actions within the Diamondbacks organization, with the fans and throughout the community reflect his commitment to the fight against hate and a desire to provide opportunities for all kids in our community." Since taking over as team president in 2007, Hall has committed the D-backs to being the most fan-friendly team in sports by answering every single fan email and phone call. "I am deeply honored by this recognition from the Anti-Defamation League," said Hall, who serves on Major League Baseball's diversity committee and the Commissioner's on-field diversity task force.
