Bnai Brith International, which is distinguished by global grassroots and has spearheaded Jewish engagement with the United Nations beginning in 1945, is leading an annual marathon of communal meetings on behalf of several organizations with world leaders attending the opening of the U.N. General Assembly session.

In numerous meetings in New York, Bnai Brith will highlight our deep concern over Irans advancing nuclear program and unsurpassed sponsorship of terrorism, urge U.N. fairness toward Israel, oppose Palestinian efforts to circumvent direct peacemaking with the Jewish state and encourage intensified efforts to confront global anti-Semitism.

The high-level General Debate segment of the General Assembly begins Sept. 19. Bnai Brith expects to meet with presidents, prime ministers and foreign ministers from across multiple continents, and will closely monitor U.N. speechesserially inflammatory in the pastby such foreign officials asIranian President Ebrahim Raisi and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas. President Biden and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu are also expected to address the assembly.

Bnai Brith is set apart by a longstanding, dedicated Office of United Nations Affairs. It will also again be making official interventions at the U.N. Human Rights Council during its session in Geneva this month.
